Fort Oak is one of our favorite restaurants in San Diego. The drinks/food are always great but the staff is super friendly and kind. We had the grilled prawns and their burger (not pictured) but so delicious. The quality of food is Superb. Drinks are always spot on and if you don’t know what you want. They’ll make something you’ll like for sure! Definitely coming back once restaurant allow dine-in and want to check out brunch one of these days as well! Update: 2+ years late and still one of my favorites. Their burgers are underrated on their menu. HH on Mondays for oysters, amazing. If you haven’t check out Fort Oak. Please do!!

This place is fun for happy hour. I’ve heard that the burger is good and I’m going to try it next time.

Such a nice place with great service (Jessica, Julio and Christina went above and beyond!), tasty bites, delicious cocktails and beautiful design and ambience from day to night. I was here with a crew and shared oysters for happy hour, a mouth watering burger (and I don’t even eat red meat lol), Charred Caulilini and a Kanpachi fish dish — ALL of which were incredibly seasoned. Oh! the French fries are capable of shattering the discipline of a monk. Lol Yum!!! Bar dining and both outdoor and indoor dining all in separate sections but open with beautiful expansive windows connecting one area to another. Overall great experience! I will definitely come back!

The drinks were fantastic really loved the sting ray. Service was great and they make sure to explain each dish as they bring it out. Food was delicious however everything was a bit salty. We got the scallop aguachile, kanpachi ceviche, asian pear salad and clams & mussels. The design is great.

Fantastic dining experience! Server was friendly and personable. Food and drinks were amazing. If you like Trust, you'll love Fort Oak! Favorites were hamachi poke, burrata, opah pastrami toast, and sincerely the best creme brulee we've ever had (complex and so flavorful)!!

What a gem of a restaurant. Vibrant without being loud. Great outdoor dining area. We had the trout and the pork chops and both were excellent. We also had the blueberry lemonade and the pineapple limeade, and both were super refreshing on a hot day. The staff is fantastic as well.

Highly recommend, everything was delicious. Great wine and cocktails, great NA options, the service was top notch (thank you, Lucas!) and the food was amazing. Highly recommend the charred pea salad, hearth roasted vegetables, coppa ham and any seafood dish but the star of the dinner was the steak. Cooked perfectly, with a delicious sauce. Don't skip dessert! The pear streusel is dreamy!

Oyster Monday Happ Hour Review: Line can get pretty busy, took our group of 5 about an hour to be seated. Doors open at 4, so arrive earlier. The oysters served at HH were Kumai and were delicious! You can only order 2 dozen at a time per table. The burger was great as well, comes with caramelized onions and cooked to perfection. Well, worth the wait!

Amazing experience. We were in the kitchen area and we could enjoy a great meal while watching the cooks preparing food Great service, great meal, great wine. We had a set menu with wine pairing (140$ per person). Not cheap but worth the experience!!!

My favourite neighborhood restaurant in San Diego. I love that you casually meet up with family and friends for good drinks and excellent food. Restaurants set up is nice especially the outdoor/indoor dining. My usual to go place for nice dinner.
